About Me
My name is Vanessa Atie
Growing up, I was lucky to be surrounded by delicious food, a beautiful blend of my mother’s home-cooked meals and my father’s Lebanese heritage. Nutrition became an important part of my life early on as a student athlete, but despite staying active and eating what I thought was “healthy,” I struggled for nearly a decade with acne, gut issues, and hormone imbalances.

After playing collegiate soccer, I finally had the space to slow down and listen to my body, which I knew had been crying out for help. With an undergraduate background in biology, I was deeply curious about what was happening beneath the surface, inside my cells, my gut, and my hormones.

My passion for functional nutrition grew even more personal when I watched my mother battle a rare cancer. Part of what fueled her illness, we believe, was chronic stress, and that left a lasting impression on me. I don’t take stress lightly, and I believe healing goes far beyond food. It’s about the whole person: your routines, your thoughts, your sleep, your movement, and your joy.

Over the years, I experimented with different eating styles and wellness approaches, eventually finding a rhythm that blends the best of Eastern and Western practices. Now, I want to help others do the same. I approach my work with curiosity, empathy, and a love of learning. I’m always exploring the latest research on gut health, hormones, metabolism, and how our bodies respond to the world around us. Currently, I’m working under the mentorship of The Nutrition Collaborative, where I continue to grow in my clinical work and deepen my understanding of root-cause healing.

If you’re looking for someone who is both evidence-based and human-centered, I’m here to listen, support, and guide you toward long-term wellness. No judgment, no fads, just real and compassionate care.

BALANCE IS KEY

Finding balance means honoring your health while embracing life’s celebrations. Enjoy the cake and ice cream without guilt because food should bring joy, not stress.
